Arthritis

Arthritis is a painful disease affecting the whole body, and in particular the joints. There are 100’s of different types of arthritis but the two most well-known forms are osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Osteoarthritis arthritis

Osteoarthritis arthritis is the most common form also known as degenerative joint disease. The early signs osteoarthritis are so mild that they are often to miss. The main symptoms are stiff and painful joints, with pain tending to worse while exercising the joint and at the end of the day. The joints may not move as freely or far as normal and may ‘creak or crack’ when moved. Most of us refer to it as ‘wear and tear’

Rheumatoid arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis is a condition that makes your immune system attack your joints. You can have symptoms for a long time or than can come and go. Rheumatoid arthritis can develop at any age.
